Exciting opportunity to enhance your skills – training in personal care

Disability Support Worker looking up at a Man.

Mable has teamed up with BCA National Training Group to bring workers on our platform an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills.

BCA National Training Group (BCA National) are a registered training organisation (RTO Provider no. 91758) delivering training in nationally recognised courses across Australia in a variety of subjects. Together with Mable they have developed two specific part qualifications that could upgrade your current skillset and could qualify you to work across a larger range of clients on Mable.

BCA National is able to offer the opportunity for care and support workers on Mable who are residents of NSW to undertake fully subsidised part qualifications under the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled initiative. In order to qualify for Smart and Skilled Funding you would need to fit the following criteria:

  • 15 years old or over
  • No longer in school
  • Living or working in NSW
  • An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen

Part qualification on Personal Care:

This part qualification encompasses four Units of Competency which can qualify you to offer personal care on the Mable platform. This is perfect for anyone who doesn’t have any current qualifications to deliver personal care, but would like to offer these services on our platform. Care and support workers who would like to brush up on their training are also welcome to apply. The following Units of Competency would be covered in 2 X 2 day blocks at the BCA National Campus on 65 York Street Sydney 2000:

CHCCS011 – Meet Personal Support needs
CHCCCS015 – Provide Individualised Support
CHCLEG001 – Work Legally and Ethically
HLTWHS002 – Follow Safe Work Practices for Direct Client Care

Please do not miss this opportunity to develop yourself professionally and upgrade your Mable profile!

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.
