Course Overview: This qualification focuses on skilling you to be able to work as an aged care worker.

Placement: Workers will need to provide evidence of 120 hours working in a care role. For those that cannot provide evidence 120 hours of working in a care role, you may be required to undertake a work placement component to be awarded your qualification.

Funding: Government subsidies are available for eligible applicants.

Course Overview: This qualification skills you to be able to provide person-centered care by following individualised care plans.

Placement: Existing workers will need to provide evidence of 120 hours working in a care role. For those that cannot provide evidence 120 hours of working in a care role, you may be required to undertake a work placement component to be awarded your qualification.

Funding: Government subsidies are available for eligible applicants.

CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Home and Community)

Course Overview: This course will provide you the skills to fulfil the critical functions of personal carers and effectively support older people and those living with a disability in a wide range of community and social based activities.

Placement: Through this partnership, work booked and delivered through Mable will count towards the 120 placement hours required for Certificate III completion.

Funding: Eligible students may be able to access a range of independent and government funding to help subsidise for the cost of training.

(CHC33015) Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)

Course Overview: Develop the essential, entry-level skills you need to safely support a client to self-administer medications.

(SSHLT0013) First Aid and CPR skill Set

Course Overview: This course offers you the skills to recognise an emergency situation, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in line with current ARC guidelines, provide first aid, operate first aid equipment, and accurately convey incident details to emergency service personnel.

(CHC33015) Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community)

Course Overview: Learn how to provide personalised support and empowerment to people living with a disability, develop strategies for communicating with people who have complex communication needs and learn how to support the skill development of a person with disability.

Placement: Please note, you will be required to undertake a vocational placement in an approved setting in order to successfully complete this qualification.

Funding: Fully funded if eligible.

(CHC43115) Certificate IV in disability

Course Overview: This qualification is focused on skilling you to reflect the role of workers in the disability sector in a range of community settings and clients’ homes.

Placement: Workers will need to provide evidence of 120 hours working in a care role. For those that cannot provide evidence 120 hours of working in a care role, you may be required to undertake a work placement component to be awarded your qualification.
