You can either post a job and wait for responses, or search through local support workers to find the best match for you. You'll be able to see their qualifications, reviews, interests and indicative rates.

Agree on job details with a support worker, including rates and a session time. Every session booked on Mable comes with insurance to cover the support worker's actions while providing your care.

Choose how to pay for support
Disability funding
Whether you’re self- or plan-managed you can use your funds to book support directly through Mable. When setting up your account, provide us with your funding details and we will handle the rest.
Aged care funding
To use your Support at Home funding to pay for support, simply add your funding details to your Mable account, and then all of your invoices will be sent directly to your provider for payment. It couldn’t be easier.
Self-funding
If you are self-funding your support and want to start arranging care straight away, you can set up direct debit payments in your Mable account, or add your credit/debit card details for automatic payments.
Mable also accepts payment via other funding sources, such as Department of Veterans’ Affairs financial support.

The traditional provider fee is based upon a sample of traditional providers offering services in disability and aged care. The fee represents the amount the client pays and the support worker earns as a percentage per hour of support. Prices have been taken from their websites as at April 2026.
Self-management fees are calculated using HomeMade which is part of the same group of companies as Mable.
** The Mable rate is based on an average weekday hourly agreed rate for social support and domestic assistance in aged care and disability support observed on the Mable platform from 1 April 2026 - 30 September 2026. It includes an agreed rate of $60/hour plus Mable's Client Platform Fee of 7.95%, totalling $65.
The online-employed platform rate displayed is the hourly rate to consumers (including superannuation) of $69.09/hour for weekday shifts occurring between 6.00am and 8.00pm. The rate is taken from the current price guide on their website as at April 2026.
The traditional provider rate is taken from the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, valid from 1 July 2026. The line item is: - Assistance with Self Care Activities- Standard - Weekday - Daytime, item number 01_011_0107_1_1 of $70.23.
