Mable’s insurance ensures every independent support worker has insurance coverage for support booked and paid for on Mable.*

Support worker insurance

Mable’s insurance offers coverage to support workers for all approved support sessions booked and invoiced through Mable.

How does it work?

  • Mable Technologies Pty Ltd has arranged a suite of insurance coverage through HMD Insurance Pty Limited (HMD) that are made available to independent support workers on the platform.
  • The insurance cover automatically applies to independent support workers when they are providing approved services, arranged and invoiced through Mable.
  • Support workers can access their Certificates of Insurance via their Mable account.
  • To make a claim, support workers must contact HMD Insurance.

Mable's suite of insurance

Mable’s insurance is made up of three policies. The insurance cover is underwritten by AXIS Syndicate 1686 at Lloyd’s and Canopius Australia.

Group General & Products Liability Cover

Covers legal liability to pay compensation to a third party arising out of personal injury, property damage or advertising liability.

Group Medical Malpractice Cover

Covers certain losses arising from a claim in respect of malpractice and civil liability.

Group Personal Accident Cover

Coverage for certain accidental injuries incurred by affiliated support workers. This policy does not cover claims that may arise as a result of sickness or illness.
