You can either pay privately for the support services you receive through Mable or use your Home Care Package to pay for it. Depending on how many hours you’d like to access, you may choose to do both.
You can register for a Home Care Package via My Aged Care – simply give them a call on 1800 200 422 or visit their website, www.myagedcare.gov.au Wait times for allocation of your Home Care Package can vary depending on the level but can be lengthy, so we encourage you to not delay registering.

Yes, as a Home Care Package holder, you won’t receive the money directly. A Government-approved provider must host your Home Care Package and use it to pay for your support services on your behalf. Just let them know that you wish to self-manage your Home Care Package and which organisation you would like to get your services from.
Yes, you can access support services through Mable and pay privately. When your Home Care Package is approved you can continue exactly the same way, but your Home Care Package will pay for all or some of the services.
