Historically, the Mable platform assumed all support is weekly, but some clients need it less frequently. This is especially true for services such as gardening or cleaning, which may not be needed every single week.
And so, we have introduced flexible scheduling options.
What's changed
Frequency options have been expanded for Ready-made jobs.
You can now access the following frequency options:
- One-off
- Ongoing weekly
- Ongoing fortnightly
- Ongoing monthly
Frequency options have also been expanded for regular (not Ready-made) public and private job forms to now include the following:
- Fortnightly
- Monthly
This feature is available on both the Mable App and the website.
What these changes mean
These changes mean that clients have more frequency options to choose from in the job form, so it’s easy to select the right option for their support needs.
For independent support workers, this means the scope of work is clear before connecting with the client, avoiding unnecessary back and forth with the client.
How it works
Ready-made jobs
- Select edit on the express job in the top right-hand corner.
- Scroll down to view dates and times. Navigate to a new drop-down called Frequency.
3. Select option from the Frequency drop-down; one-off, weekly, fortnightly, monthly.
Manual jobs (private and public)
1. Navigate to the Frequency, dates and times page in the job form.
2. Select Frequency option from the drop down; one-off, weekly, fortnightly, monthly.
