Mable makes it easy for the self-managed. The website has a simple layout and is easy to navigate. The invoices are sequential which makes it easy for me to track and reference! They keep copies of all invoices/receipts for my records. And of course great support workers. They also encourage support workers to give shift progress notes which helps so much when ensuring we are progressing towards our support goals and when reviewing funding with the NDIS.

Before an independent therapist or support worker can apply for jobs on the Mable platform there is a stringent approval process in place including, but not limited to:

Valid working with children check (if working with children)
Verify relevant qualifications
Reference checks.

Support workers on Mable offer a wide range of therapy services right in your home, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and psychological counselling.
Rest assured, every therapist on Mable is thoroughly verified. Mable takes steps to check their qualifications, experience, and registration with the appropriate professional bodies.
Depending on the requirements of your NDIS care plan, physiotherapists on Mable may be able to assist with post-surgery rehabilitation. They can tailor a recovery plan to help you regain strength and mobility in the comfort and privacy of your home.
Therapy services through Mable’s platform may be covered by NDIS, or Home Care Package, depending on your plan.
If you wish to use your NDIS funding, you should check that your NDIS plan includes therapy services before arranging support services from an NDIS therapist through Mable.
* The 31% online employed provider fee represents the difference between what the client pays and the support worker earns as a percentage per hour of support for disability support workers. The traditional provider fee is based upon a sample of traditional providers offering services in disability and aged care. ** The Mable rate is based on an average weekday hourly agreed rate for social support and domestic assistance in aged care and disability support observed on the Mable platform from 1 April 2024 – 30 September 2024. It includes an agreed rate of $54/hour plus Mable’s Client Platform Fee of 7.95%, totalling $58. The online-employed platform rate displayed is the hourly rate to consumers (including superannuation) of $66.46/hour for weekday shifts occurring between 6.00am and 8.00pm. The rate is taken from the current price guide on their website as at 25 July 2024. The traditional provider rate is taken from the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, valid from 1 July 2024. The line item is: – Assistance with Self Care Activities- Standard – Weekday – Daytime, item number 01_011_0107_1_1 of $67.56.
