Privacy Collection Notice
Mable Technologies Pty Ltd (ACN 62 890 379) (Mable) connects Australians looking for disability and aged care support to independent support workers.
The terms in this notice are defined in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Mable will collect your personal and sensitive information from you. For clients and independent support workers, this includes:
- Your name, date of birth, driver’s licence number, other information by which we can identify you or verify your identity (such as passport details), email and mailing address, phone number, gender, cultural background, profile picture, interests, hobbies, and music preferences.
- If you are an independent support worker, Mable will also collect your certification to work with children or with vulnerable people, ABN, criminal history, the results of any applicable screening checks, your ethnicity, religion, work experience, income, professional skills and abilities, lifestyle information, schedule availability, and bank information to facilitate direct deposit of earnings.
- If you are a client, Mable will also collect your family or emergency contacts, care services needed, care plan, health conditions, activities, household information and credit card information to facilitate payment processing.
For visitors to our website, Mable will collect personal information that you provide to us, including through submitting forms, engaging with our chatbot, AI assistant tool or other website tools.
Mable will typically collect your personal information from you but may also collect it from third parties such as if someone provides the information on your behalf (such as a parent, representative, plan manager, coordinator or registered provider) or our third party suppliers (such as those that conduct verification and screening checks on our behalf).
The purpose for collecting your personal information includes to, as applicable:
- Facilitate the creation of, and secure, your account on our Platform;
- Verify your identity and credentials;
- Communicate with you about your account, including as part of secondary fraud protection and to provide you with information about our Terms of Use, policies and any changes to these documents, platform or our operations;
- Identify you as a user of our Platform;
- Communicate with you, from time to time, to solicit your feedback/send newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials related to our Platform (unless you have opted out of this communicate); and
- Provide you with assistance on or respond to your queries, concerns or complaints.
If you do not provide us with personal information, we may not be able to create your account on our Platform, approve you as a user of our Platform or respond to your queries.
We may disclose that information to:
- Other Members of the Platform, such as independent support workers or clients (as applicable);
- Provider Customers including coordinators, approved aged care providers and any other providers;
- External service providers such as organisations that provide verification and screening checks on our behalf;
- Our consultants, advisors and other third parties who may work with us to improve or develop our Site and Platform, operate or develop our business, conduct surveys or seek feedback from you, conduct market and other research, or facilitate or collaborate with us in relation to promotions;
- Our related entities as set out in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy; and
- As legally required or in other legally permissible situations.
We may transfer or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties located outside Australia, including to third parties who provide information technology and other services to us. This may include processing of personal information by AI tools. Those third parties may be located in the United States, the Philippines, India or other countries. We will only do this where it is necessary or appropriate to achieve the purposes set out in this collection notice or our Privacy Policy.
