They include:

What this looks like

Sarah engages her support worker, John, for home cleaning support. Together, they agree on an hourly rate of $58.
Mable's Client Platform Fee is 7.95%.

  • For a $58 hourly rate, this fee is $4.61.
  • The $4.61 Client Platform Fee is added to the agreed hourly rate.
  • Sarah, the client, will now pay $62.61 per hour for house cleaning.

Mable's Support Engagement Fee is 10%.

  • For the agreed $58 hourly rate, this is $5.80.
  • The $5.80 Support Engagement Fee is deducted from the agreed hourly rate.
  • John, the support worker, will now take home $52.20 an hour.

In total, Mable will receive $10.41 in fees per hour for this agreed service. This is 16.6% of the hourly rate.

The average rate shown above includes the Mable 7.95% fee and the $39 minimum hourly rate for support workers.

How Mable fees compare

Our low operating costs mean more hours of support for clients and better earnings for independent support workers.

*The 31% online employed provider fee represents the difference between what the client pays and the support worker earns as a percentage per hour of support for disability support workers. The rate is taken from the current price guide on their website as at 25 September 2025.
The traditional provider fee is based upon a sample of traditional providers offering services in disability and aged care. The fee represents the amount the client pays and the support worker earns as a percentage per hour of support. Prices have been taken from their websites as at 25 September 2025.

Minimum hourly rates for support workers

We recognise the valued role independent support workers play in our community. That's why Mable's minimum agreed rate is $39 per hour, ensuring agreement rates are not lower than the national minimum wage set by the Fair Work Commission
