It’s easy for independent support workers to choose who can view their profile and which job notifications to receive on Mable.
Once you’ve logged into your Mable account, select Edit profile from your account menu.
Profile Viewing
From the Rates and availability tab, you can choose whether your profile can be viewed by people on Mable searching for support workers.
By turning the Show my profile in search results toggle on, your profile will appear in
- Results when a client searches for a support worker
- A list of “Recommended Workers” presented to clients who have posted a job.
With this toggle on, people can find your profile and message you with job requests and enquiries on Mable.
We recommend only turning this toggle on if you’re actively seeking work on Mable.
Turning the toggle off will not display your profile in any search results on Mable.
If the toggle is turned off, your existing clients can still view your profile and contact you via Team Chat on Mable.
You can update your visibility preference at any time.
Notification Preferences
From the Rates and availability tab, you also can choose whether you wish to receive job notifications from Mable.
By turning the Tell me about jobs toggle on, you’ll receive emails, including
- Job Notifications – an email about an individual job where your profile is one of the top matches.
- Job Alerts – an email about an individual job where you have manually configured a job alert.
Recommended Jobs – an email with a collection of jobs that might be good matches for you.
By turning the toggle off, you won’t receive these emails.
You can update your notifications preferences at any time.
To adjust your Mable email preferences, visit Email Alerts in your Mable account settings and select which emails you wish to receive.
