How to delete your Mable account

The following information applies to support workers and client accounts on Mable.

To permanently delete your Mable account, you cannot have any:

  • Active Agreements Pending
  • Support hours
  • Pending/outstanding invoices

If you are a Support Coordinator or Organisation Administrator, you will need to request to close your account with Mable’s customer support team by contacting info@mable.com.au

Making your support worker account unavailable

If you are a support worker on Mable, we recommend making yourself unavailable if you wish to return to the platform in future. This will ensure that you are no longer visible in search results to clients. This is also handy if you are going overseas or cannot work for a period of time.

To become ‘unavailable’, you need to remove your account from search results and update your preferred hours. 

To remove your account from search results, follow these steps: 

  1. Select Edit profile
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and select the toggle next to Show my profile in search results so that it is in the off position.
  3. Select Save and continue

To update your preferred hours follow these steps: 

  1. Select Edit profile
  2. Under Preferred hours, untick every day of the week
  3. Select Save and continue

When you are ready to return to work, you can update your details again. 

Deleting your support worker account

Account deletion is permanent.

If you would like to provide support on Mable again, you will need to repeat the registration, verification and approvals process which can take up to 3 weeks from the date you complete your profile, with additional time for police check approval.

Before you delete your account, you may want to export your support hours, invoices and business income statements from the Billing page.

The process of deleting your account is different depending on whether you are you using a browser (for example, Safari, Google Chrome) or the mobile app. Please find both sets of instructions below. 

If you are using a browser, please follow these steps:

  1. Select Account from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen
  2. Scroll down and select Delete Account
  3. You will be asked to confirm your decision. 

If you are using the mobile app, please follow these steps:

  1. Select your profile picture in the top-left corner
  2. Select Delete account from the menu
  3. Select Delete
  4. You will be asked to confirm your decision. 

Deleting your client account

Please note, account deletion is permanent.

If you would like to return to Mable in future, you will need to create an account, including filling out your profile, support needs and funding details again.

  2. Select Delete account from the bottom of the menu
  3. Select Delete
  4. You will be asked to confirm your decision.
