Independent support workers on the platform set their own hourly rates , which are displayed on their profile. You can discuss and agree the rate and schedule with each individual support worker before booking them. Workers and clients agree on rates before support is delivered on Mable. The client pays this agreed rate plus 7.95%, while the independent worker receives the agreed rate less 10%. No fees are charged until a client books a support worker and the services are delivered. All payments are made online and can be easily tracked via your timesheet and reports on your dashboard.

Do I need a referral?

No, you don't need a referral to find support services. It's free to join, and you can book and receive support once your credit or debit card has been verified.

Do you have a waitlist for support services?

No, there is no waitlist to access support services. Once your credit or debit card has been verified, which is usually within 2 working days, you can access support immediately.

How can I pay for support services?

Can I use government funding to pay for services?

You can use NDIS and Support at Home funding to pay for services. If you're waiting for government funding, you can still access support while you wait by paying with a credit or debit card. We are currently unable to accept funding as a payment option from state-based government funding pathways that cover out-of-hospital care, including from CHSP , ComPacks, Hospital in the Home (NSW), Healthy at Home, Safe and Supported at Home Packages (SASH), and End of Life pathway.

Will my insurance company pay for support sessions?

Mable is not linked to insurance companies. We suggest contacting your insurer to find out if they reimburse invoices for out-of-hospital services from private care platforms.
