You pay less. Support people earn more.
As a Mable customer, you engage your support team directly and could pay significantly lower rates than NDIS reference rates. That can add up to more hours of support for you.
You agree the rates directly with the independent workers you choose.
Once your rate is agreed , you pay the agreed rate plus 5%. Independent support people will receive the agreed rate less 10%
This illustrative example based on an agreed rate of $40. Rates typically range from $30.00 – $48.00 per hour on the platform across independent workers with different experiences, qualifications and services.

Freedom of choice
Imagine having the power to choose your own team of support. With Mable, you design your own support schedule and even choose the kinds of services that make it possible for you to live the life you want.
Value for money
Mable is purely an online platform, which keeps our operating costs much lower. We pass the savings on to our customers. You simply agree to a rate with your support worker and Mable’s fees are just an additional 5%.
Peace of mind
With Mable, you can rest assured that each support person has been verified with both police checks and references. Additionally, you will have access to ratings and reviews left by other Mable customers.
How it works
As an NDIS participant, you naturally want your funding to go as far as possible. When you sign up for disability support as a Mable customer, you benefit in multiple ways. You get greater value, more choice and better control.
Find a support worker
Browse the profiles of Independent Support People in your area. They’ve all been security checked and verified for your peace of mind. Narrow your search to particular interests, availability, skills and more.
Book a support session
Shortlist your favourites then connect directly via the Mable platform. You and your new support person - or people - can mutually agree upon the support services, price, time and location.
Start building your network
Rest assured that you’re covered by the protections and safeguards of the Mable platform, including insurance. Continue building your team by connecting with other support workers.
Common questions about
NDIS and disability services
You can either pay privately for the disability support services you receive through Mable or use your NDIS funding to pay for it. Depending on how many hours you’d like to access, you may choose to do both.
After each session is completed, your support worker will submit an online time sheet with shift notes, which is sent to you for approval.
Once the time sheets have been approved, the platform accepts a range of payment methods.
With Mable, you get to choose your support worker, the days and times of your sessions and even agree on how much to pay. You’re in control the whole time.
Correct. At Mable, we believe that the best way to determine which services would be best for a person to live the life they want is to have the most important person make their own choices and decisions. Self-management is easy, and we’re here to help you too.
Yes, you can access disability support services through Mable and pay privately. If you do become eligible or start receiving your NDIS funding, you can continue exactly the same way, but your NDIS will go towards payment for the services.
If you are self-managing or plan-managing your NDIS funds through a provider, you can use your funds to hire an independent support worker directly using the Mable platform.
