A platform designed for everyone
Whether you're an older Australian wanting to stay independent at home, a person living with a disability, a family member arranging support for someone you care about, or a support worker using our platform, we're committed to making Mable accessible and inclusive for you.
We know that accessibility means different things to different people. For some, it's using assistive technology like a screen reader. For others, it's having larger text, clear language, simple navigation, or the reassurance of speaking to a real person. Whatever your needs, abilities or level of digital confidence, we are continually working to make Mable easier to use.
Your feedback matters
If you've experienced an accessibility barrier while using Mable or have suggestions about how we can improve, we'd love to hear from you. Your feedback helps us continue building a platform that works for everyone.

Our approach to accessibility
We build accessibility into the way we design, develop and improve our products. We combine digital innovation with a human-centred approach to create experiences that work for as many people as possible.
Built to recognised accessibility standards
We design and engineer our platform in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These international standards help us build digital experiences that are easier to navigate, understand, and use.
This process involves:
creating clear, readable content
intuitive navigation
sufficient colour contrast
keyboard accessibility; and
compatibility with assistive technologies.
Continuous testing and improvement
We never stop improving accessibility; it's an ongoing process.
Our engineering teams regularly test new features using assistive technologies, including screen readers, alongside specialised tools such as axe DevTools. We identify and remove barriers to make Mable easier to use every day.
We prioritise accessibility in every team
We consider accessibility from the very beginning of every product we build.
Each engineering squad includes an Accessibility Champion who embeds inclusive design principles throughout the development process, making accessibility a shared responsibility across our teams.
Putting people at the heart of our design
The best improvements come from listening to the people who use Mable every day. Your experiences help us identify real-world challenges and guide meaningful updates to make the platform more intuitive and accessible for everyone.
We regularly conduct research and usability testing with older Australians, people living with disability, family members and support workers. We work with people who have a wide range of experiences and accessibility needs, including those who:
use assistive technologies
have low vision or hearing loss
are neurodivergent
have reduced dexterity or mobility
have varying levels of digital confidence.
By observing how people interact with Mable, from creating an account to finding and managing support, we identify real-world challenges and turn that feedback into meaningful improvements. This helps us make our platform simpler, more intuitive and easier for everyone to use.
Support beyond the platform
We know that technology isn't the right solution for every situation, and sometimes it's easier to speak with a real person.
Whether you're new to digital technology, arranging support for yourself or someone you care about, or just need a little extra help, our Australia-based team is here to support you every step of the way, making sure you feel supported and understood.
You can contact us by phone, email or live chat, and our team will guide you through every step, from getting started on Mable to finding and managing the right support.
Our goal is to ensure everyone can confidently access the support they need, regardless of their experience with technology or individual accessibility needs.
