In February this year, Consumer Directed Care was introduced, giving Home Care Package recipients greater choice and control over the care they receive and who comes into their home to provide it.
Now, the Department of Health is looking at the future of home care in Australia, including the possibility of a model where government funding goes directly into the hands of consumers.
COTA Australia and RMIT University want to hear from home care package recipients as they commence a project to develop and trial a new model of care in Australia.
Give your voice to future aged care reform in Australia by taking part in the survey.
