Wheel or walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge
Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney, NSW Any day/time FreeIn 2018, glass elevators were put in to make it easier and fun to access the Sydney Harbour Bridge walkway. The 1.6-kilometre walkway offers panoramic views of the Harbour, the Opera House, Kirribilli, and Circular Quay. From the northern end, enter at 9 Broughton St, or at the southern end, from 96 Cumberland Street (Circular Quay is 10 minutes away on foot or by wheelchair). Ticketed street parking is available at both ends, and there is an accessible parking bay opposite the lift on Broughton St.

Bald Archy Caricature Art Festival

Considered a ‘playful dig’ at the Archibald Prize exhibition, the Bald Archies celebrate colourful, witty caricatures. Running for 27 years, this year, more than 50 entries will be showcased. Go along and check out some clever artwork that’s loaded with the larrikin Aussie spirit. Held in the ground floor lounge of the Ibis Hotel, the venue is accessible and hourly parking is available across the road at Secure Parking, 10 Shelley Street

They take place monthly or fortnightly and are led by a facilitator. There are no formal membership requirements. Discover Aboriginal Art

The permanent collection display features artefacts, artworks, photos, oral history recordings and a reference library. Until 4th May 2023, you might like to check out ‘Second Skin – Essence of Country’. It features lovingly created possum skin cloaks, bags, shields, jewellery, and kangaroo skin headdresses. The venue is accessible.

Redcliffe Markets Easter Pop Up 2023
Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe, Qld 8am-3pm on Good Friday 7th and 8am-2pm on Easter Sunday 9th April 2023 Free to attendThe regular Redcliffe Markets are held every Sunday but this year, there’ll be an exciting Easter Pop Up held over two days. Wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly, the event will feature 200 stallholders offering handcrafted wares, gourmet foods, and Easter décor and gifts. The Easter Bunny will be dropping by too. And if you go on Friday, you’ll catch the start of Australia’s second largest boat race, the 75th Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, scheduled to commence at 11am. Accessible parking is also available but may be limited due to the size of the event.

Cats and dogs: All at sea

Sydney photographer Sam Hood photographed these precious pets between 1900 and the 1950s. You can view the endearing Cats and dogs: All at sea exhibition and discover just how important the pets were to the sailors. The venue is accessible, with accessible parking just metres from the main entrance.
