Congratulations to our competition winners!

National Carers Week (15 – 21 October 2017) was all about recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution Australia’s 2.7 million unpaid carers.

To celebrate National Carers Week, we have given four unpaid carers the opportunity to win 2 x Gold Class tickets. To be in the running, contestants were to comment on our Facebook post and tell us in 50 words or less why someone they know deserves to win.

Our judges based their decision on the creativity and originality of each competition entry.

After carefully deliberating each of our entries, we are pleased to announce our four competition winners:

Kathryn’s entry:

“I am deaf and I am look after lady who support me my life since my mum die I was ten yrs old…now I am support her bec she is 92 yrs old..I want give her back good and care..bec I owe her 51 yrs..I love help old ages bec they know me”.

Emily’s entry:

“Where her Grandparent duties are actually a caring role to provide me with much needed respite”.

Carmel’s entry:

“Because, in the words of her beautiful son ‘she needs to stop being a mother sometimes and just be an adult!'”

Melanie’s entry:

“I would love to win as it would be great to watch a movie that he wants to go to and to have a fun time together. I would do love that to. He is a very precious chap”.
