Bonner Paddock – First Person with Cerebral Palsy to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro unassisted

He’s done extraordinary things to raise money for early learning centers in the U.S. and Africa. Becoming the first person with cerebral palsy to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro unassisted (2008) and the first person with cerebral palsy to complete the Ironman World Championship in Kona (2012), Bonner has raised almost $1 Million Dollars since creating his foundation in 2009.

Bonner’s climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2008 is filmed in the documentary “Beyond Limits”. Narrated by the late Michael Clarke Duncan, the film takes you through Bonner’s experience of becoming the first person with cerebral palsy to summit Kilimanjaro unassisted.
