Note: whichever target audience you select will determine which Mable Independent Advisory Council reviews your application.

The intended purpose of the grants

The Mable Community Grants must be explicitly used for projects or programs that relieve poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, helplessness or disability in the lives of people in Australia who are living with a disability or who are ageing to improve their independence and inclusion within their community.

Keeping this in mind, answer the following questions:

Terms and Conditions

I acknowledge that the Application Form and related materials being provided to The Mable Foundation Limited (Foundation) are being submitted by me on behalf of the Organisation that I represent for the Foundation’s review, consideration, and potential determination to apply for a grant of funding for its charitable purposes, which the Foundation may determine in its absolute discretion.

I acknowledge that any Grant to be provided by the Foundation will be subject to, and conditional upon, entering into a formal grant agreement that will set out the formal conditions.

I agree that, to the extent permitted by law, by submitting an application and any other materials (save for any personal information) to the Foundation in connection with the Grant, I:

  • Have read the General Information for Mable Community Grants 2024 and agree to them
  • Expressly and irrevocably authorise the Foundation to use and/or licence third parties to use the entry in whole or in part, in perpetuity in or on any and all media, whether currently in existence or developed in the future, and alone or together or as part of other information, content and/or material of any kind or nature;
  • Represent and warrant that all elements contained in the grant
    application or other supplied material:

    • Are original to the applicant and fully cleared for use.
    • Do not and will not, in any way, violate or breach any of the
      terms of any other agreement the entrant may be a party to.
    • Do not contain defamatory, misleading, deceptive or otherwise unlawful, untrue or inaccurate information, infringe or violate any copyright or other intellectual property right, or contain any matter the publication or sale of which will violate any law.
    • Are not obscene or likely to offend.
    • Are not in any way cruel or abusive.
    • Will not require the Foundation to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity due to the Foundation's use or exploitation of the same.
  • Unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission which would otherwise infringe any of their moral rights in the application and waive all moral rights in the entry that arises outside Australia.
  • Warrant that where the application contains the image, likeness or any identifying characteristic of another person, the applicant has received express consent from others to be included in the application. The applicant indemnifies the Foundation of any breach of losses or fines incurred by the Foundation as a breach of this warranty.
  • Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Foundation, its related bodies, corporate and associated agencies (and any of their personnel) exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any grant applicant, including, without limitation:
    • Any indirect, economic or consequential loss.
    • Any loss arising from the negligence of the Foundation, its related corporations and associated agencies (and any of their personnel).
    • Any liability for personal injury or death.
  • The Foundation or its authorised agents will take no responsibility for applications that are ineligible for technical or other reasons.
