When it comes to websites, a consistent request is for it to rank well on the search engines.
While I would love to make websites with all the bells and whistles, unfortunately it isn’t always conducive to a search engine friendly site…yet.
I try my best to create websites which suit the present web environment and give my clients the best chance of getting seen in the search engines.
At times this means making the difficult decision to sacrifice aesthetics for optimisation - but not at the cost of usability.
It means building sites primarily with XHTML and CSS, and, wherever possible, avoiding Flash and JavaScript navigation and content.
It also means paying attention to the finer details like naming conventions, XHTML text rich pages and close attention to
key-word inclusion.
