'Surfer Sam' was my first serious attempt at 2D animation. After designing the characters, creating a detailed storyboard and recording narration and character voices, I set out to animate the children's story which my cousin, James wrote.
While it has many (many, many, many) flaws, I like that it indicated my drive and enthusiasm for the new art form I was learning.
I was probably a bit crazy even attempting lip synching, water and so much action on my first attempt...but i've always liked a challenge.
