This was the final 3D animated piece of my University degree.
While a large part of the project involved following a tutorial to make the Mech Warrior and its snowy environment, it took me on a huge learning curve as i was introduced to new methods of modeling and rigging.
It was also my first glance at the amazing world of particles and dynamics.
Once the scene had been created, i decided to extend myself and animate my Mech beyond the scope of the tutorial (which involved simpy blowing up the tower).
It was during this process that i also made my first (albeit less than perfect) attempt at compositing 2D and 3D animation.
